MULBERRY COTTAGE

The Mulberry Cottage sits on the main property on the south side of the court yard. The cottage is petite, 300 sq ft, but is extremely comfortable and cozy. The bedroom has a double tempur-pedic mattress and a small seating area with views of the plum tree and garden. The Mulberry Cottage fits two people perfectly and an air mattress is available if there is a third in your party.

The kitchen is fully functional with stove/oven, small fridge, sink, microwave and a good amount of counter space. We try to have basics to keep you going: olive oil, vinegars, salt, pepper, soy sauce, coffee, teas, etc. The dinning area is intimate in side cottage attached to the kitchen. The TV with satellite reception is located in the kitchen dinning room area. The bathroom is a tight fit with a larger shower, we have some basic liquid soaps and shampoos/conditioners as well as hair dryer for guest use. Small iron and ironing board are located in the cottage for guests use as well.

High speed cable internet by wifi is available through out the property.

Had a great stay with Gio and Jen! Property was cozy, clean, as described, and with a bonus of heavily-laden fruit trees throughout. Close to downtown, interesting neighborhood, replete with shops and restaurants (recommend "Root Down"). Private and quiet (although only blocks from the interstate). Maps and info on local attractions provided, plus Gio as a resource to answer questions. Would certainly stay again! - Keith

This is our second time staying at the Cottage, and once again, it was wonderful. Jen and Gio were excellent hosts. The Cottage was immaculate and the garden was absolutely beautiful. We spent the morning relaxing on the patio sitting next to the coy pond, snacking on peaches from the tree located feet away, and then took a short walk to Rootdown for brunch.
